Well friends winter has not arrived for us here yet (but it's getting very close) and we have already booked a competition for next year. On March 11th & 12th we will be competing at the inaugural Smoke On The Shores BBQ Championship in Nashville, TN. On the beautiful shores of (42 mile long, 14,000 acre) J Percy Priest Lake. Our host will be Nashville Shores Lakeside Resort. This looks like a fun filled weekend for the whole family. Campsites, Cabins, Boat Rentals and much more. Check it out at SmokeontheShores.com or NashvilleShores.com
Hope to see you there.
To all our competition team friends you might want to check it out. Limiting it to 42 Teams and already have 27 booked.

Hello everyone. It's so good to finally get a chance to update you on our progress now that our competition year is coming to an end. Kind of been a tough year for our team. With my father passing away and Jan having major surgery this year we have not been able to make very many competitions this year. As for the ones we did. Well we never got one top ten call. But we only competed in five events this year. We started 2015 off in Miami, OK. Then did Wyandotte, MI. after that we did make Jeffersonville, IN. Which I'm sure will become a must attend contest for many teams in the future. As you can see from the above picture it was great. Then we did Marne, MI.and The Windy City BBQ Classic in Chicago. Which was another premier event to attend in the future. We turned in our top scores ever in all four meat categories but no call. There were a lot of great teams there. All and all I learned a lot this past year and expect to come out swinging for the fences in 2016. Stay tuned.

The Greatest Man I Ever Knew
RIP POP'S
